From the owner: "I've had the truck for five years, and driven it about 8000 miles, so new is within the last 8000 miles, except for the transmission which I just installed. From the front: New front brakes (cylinders, tubing, shoes); New front pinion seal; New garter on the front driveshaft; New front wheel grease seals; New Ducellier distributor; New front main seal; New water pump and hoses; Rebuilt 63 amp alternator (Delco: not original); Good used rocker shaft and rockers; (Last I checked compression was around 145 in all cylinders. And there are other invoices. New stainless steel exhaust; New tires; Set of 15 AND 16" wheels (the new tires are 16"); Weber carb; Original air cleaner assembly; Oil pressure is 60 psi when cold and hot, no smoke, trans works well (has new synchronizers, many of the gears, seals, bearings, layshaft, etc.); Steering feels great; The overdrive works perfectly (a bit stiff going in and out but no noises or anything else odd); Seats, front and rear, are very good; Body looks great, paint has a nice patina; Heater works well, same with lights, wipers, turn signals, but speedo is not working. It doesn't seem to need anything other than (perhaps) a speedo cable. Last owner for 25+ years. Primary use was a 3 mile drive to work in the countryside (Salisbury Ct to Millerton NY). This vehicle was purchased by one of our long time customers from the Scottsdale AZ dealer in 1996 with 38,962 miles and it hadn't been out of AZ since until shipped to us in CT this winter. It was originally sold in Utah. It has been used mainly on the street, and off road only on easy desert jeep trails. No rock hopping. It has a '95 Best Top and a surrey top. Diamond plate on the top of the fenders, off road lights and AC. Full roll cage with single rear jump seat on driver's side. Internal rack system for two mountain bikes (these work best with straps securing the bikes to the lower bars of the roll cage). Standard AM/FM cassette player in console. Body is in excellent shape with no dings or dents. Other than the hood and the top of the fenders, vehicle was repainted by the AZ dealer 8 years ago. The rear hoop tail light was removed because it was annoying; right in the line of sight in the rear view mirror. It will be sold with the truck. The truck has just been fully inspected and serviced by Advanced Auto Works, with a new radiator installed and new front brake pads and rotors.
